Stainless steel welded wire mesh panels and rolls are metal mesh products formed by welding a series of crisscrossed stainless wires together by a resistance welding machine. Welded mesh with 3-25mm (1/8-1 in.) openings is also called hardware cloth.

This welding structure makes the mesh openings not easily deformed by external forces. Because 304 and 316 stainless steel have excellent corrosion resistance, it is more resistant to rust than galvanized weld mesh, especially at the welding points where the wires cross. Therefore, stainless steel welded wire mesh has a much longer service life than galvanized material.

Stainless steel welded mesh has uniform grid patterns, the delivery conditions are usually rolls, sheets or panels, depending on the wire diameter and customer requirements. The commonly used materials are available in 201, 202, 304, 304L, 316, 316L, other grades can be customized according to customer requirements.
